Oooh, is that the shape/size cookies I ordered? Those are soooo cool! The sea lions, they're so neat. You are such a talented woman Jin. Um, you think you could post another process pic of the Petit Fours? ;)
I can't WAIT to sink my teeth into those! Yum! Yum! Yum! Yum! Yum!
Thanks!! :-) You know... I do try to photograph things like this all the time. Unfortunately I'm usually in such a rush that I end up getting less than half the process!! But I'll try harder! ;-)
I certainly can put little princess crowns on this oval shape. It'd be a nice size for what you had in mind as well. Now I just have to try & make some time to do your Blogger Love at the same time!!! Hmmm... maybe you could be the first blogger love that actually receives their tribute cookie?! *gasp* I'll try... I swear! ;-)
Normally I prefer doing cartoony type animals... but the realistic ones sneak in there on occasion! Who knows... maybe next time it'll be a trouser snake! ;-P
It was a character out of a play some local kids put on at the college. There were little toy soldier cookies too but I don't know what the hell I did with the photos! :-S I sure can't find them! LOL!!!
Sing-along: "Heeeere TAK isss to save the daaaaaay!" *I hope I'm not the only one who remembers the Mighty Mouse song?!* :-S
*Read Katy's response for what they were for...*
I am not napping much but I am taking little breaks here and there for the fall TV shows even tho I never used to watch TV!!! I <3 all things Ramsey (Kitchen Nightmares old & new), Law & Order, Nip/Tuck & Dirty Sexy Money (I know... the last 2 are really cheesy but they make me LOL!).
of course, as always i'm here when i'm starved......sigh...... how bouts appearing in my kitchen right about now? you bring the cookies and i'll feed you a veggie stew..
After my internship with the CIA last year I obtained the technology to clone myself. I was successful at creating 194 mini-jimbos. Unfortunately our plans to take over the world didn't go as well as expected.
The main draw back was the want, need, and desire to blog. It was a knock down drag out fight in front of the ole' iMac.
Fortunately I when I was 8 my mother sent me to Japan. I was raised in a samurai training camp. It was hard growing up. The separation anxiety, not knowing the language, and learning to eat with chop sticks were very difficult and got the best of me from time to time. Who would have known that this up bringing would prove to be so important in my adult life.
So began the great blog combat of '06. We fought in front of the ole' iMac for 17 days straight. I was wise enough not to program my clones with my years of samurai training, and I was able to defeat them one by one. I will spare you the gory details.
Long story short... Be careful when wishing for 200 Jin's. You may not get the results you are hoping for.
I would soooo seriously take you up on that if you lived near here. The last time someone cooked me a meal.... like in a *real* kitchen (someone's home)... hmmmm.... wow... had to be... sometime in 2004. In case you hadn't gathered, mr. jin cannot cook. In fact, he can't even boil water. It has taken me roughly 5 years to teach him how to make a pot of coffee. He's an air sign. Woe is jin. Haaahahahahaaa! :-S
OMFG!!!!!!! Haaahahahahaaaa!!!! Took me a whole 2 readings of your comment to figure out what you meant.
CIA, in my food frenzied brain, means The Culinary Institute of America.
I'm sitting here thinking cool... he can sing & he can play guitar AND he can cook! and then I'm wondering how the fuck the Culinary Institue would teach you cloning... until my sleep deprived brain kicked into gear & said "jin, STOP being a moron!"
Ok ok... so I'm exaggerating a tad. ;-) :-) :-D
But seriously... you should send that script to Quentin Tarantino! Kill Bill vol III "The mini Jimbo's"
i'm an air sign too....libra ;) but i also get hungry. and being a "lazy" libra i tend to put everything into one pot and have therefore learned to make killer stews. foam
Rule my world or rock it? Clone, Schmone, I'd rather do it the old fashioned way, but sounds as though you already have your quota of married dudes chasing you so I'll give you a break.
A Libra?! *gasp* I get along fabulously with female Libra's. Two of my closest friends are Libra's. I am also a pro with male Libra's. The males I find to be totally opposite the females. I don't know why but I always end up with Libra boyfriends & my current husband. Note: Libra men & Virgo women just do NOT get along. Ever. I have no idea why I keep doing that to myself! hellllpppp! :-S
I think you have telepathic powers. Would you believe one of my customers brought me a pot of veggie stew today? Just to be nice? I figured you sent her! ;-)
i'm married to a cancer. libras and cancers are not supposed to be an ideal match. alas, we've been at it for 24 years. some of my favorite people are virgos.
Some of you know me as Jennifer Pasquill from the 17 year run at my brick and mortar, Uniquely Yours Pastry Shoppe in Wisconsin, and some of you know me as jin from my popular pastry blog, Jintrinsique. Maybe, just maybe, you don't know me at all... maybe you're just here for the foodporn and that's cool in my book. ;-)

See now that is cool. I was really having a problem with this post when I read sea lions.
I keep looking at the first picture and thinking, what the hell is Jen talking about?!
Then I scroll down and get the tasty bits one at a time. A process and you know I love to see the process...
Very cool, I want more "Jen in the Making" process pictures. These are fun.
