The munkee in me wants to say chocolate-covered naners.

The dessert lover in me wants to say eclairs.

The filthy mind in me wants to say... well, never mind.

I'll go with unsliced eclairs or eclair cake.

Good guesses Munkee!
But I'm not sayin' anything for a few days!
;-)

*jin decides to go back and see what her filthy mind comes up with*

My guess is either; a) they are... gorged upon; or b) they are... fattening. I think there is a high chance that they are both.

Nice to see high quality chocolate used so extravagantly. Yum!

hhmmm... apart from tatally divine of course- i'm going to hazard a guess and say some kind of cake, with caramel stuffed wafer fingers on top covered in dark chocolate.

Chocolate covered lady fingers on a bed of cake...heaven, especially if the lady fingers were dipped in rum.

ALL:

I think I shall post the answer on Saturday night as I feel I should give you a photo of the inside which I do not currently have.

I will make this again for the weekend.
I will slice one so you can see the inside.
I will eat it and tease you with jinpics of mass indulgence.

BWA-haaahahahahahaaaaa.
;-)

Until then... keep guessing!

kind of looks like a certain pastry i came across in germany a lot ..
except they didn't put the biscuit cookies in it ..
it's known by a variety of names ..
a whippet in canada, a schokokuss in germany, chocolate teacake .., etc.
anyway, it's kind of has a marshmellow filling that is over a biscuit type crust and then covered with chocolate. man, i used to devour those...

.. i meant to say that they didn't put the biscuit cookies on top...
